Who we are and what this covers

Route IPTV is provided by Astalyne Studios. The operator's name, address and contact details are in the Imprint.

These terms cover your use of the Route apps, the routeiptv.com website and your Route account.

What Route does and does not do

Route is a media player. It does not provide, host, sell, link to or recommend any channels, films, series, playlists or IPTV subscriptions.

Route is not affiliated with any IPTV provider and is not responsible for providers' services.

The sources you add

You may only add sources you are legally allowed to use. You are responsible for the sources you add and what you watch with them.

Your provider links and login details are stored only on your device and are never sent to us.

What you must not do

You may not use Route to watch or share content without the rights holder's permission, get around protection measures, abuse the service, reverse engineer the app or resell it.

Your account

You sign in to your Route account with a link sent to your email address. You must be at least 16 to create an account.

You can delete your account at any time (see Privacy, Deleting your account). Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription.

Repeated infringement

If we find that an account spreads or promotes infringing sources, we first warn, then suspend the account for a reasonable period if it happens again, and close it if it continues. We look at each case individually, explain our decision and give you a way to object.

We may close an account immediately for serious violations.

Paid plans

Paid plans only unlock app features; no plan includes content.

Subscriptions are bought through the App Store or Google Play. Payment, renewal, cancellation, refunds and the right of withdrawal follow that store's terms and are handled through the store.

A subscription renews for the same period unless you cancel it in the store settings before the period ends.

The 7-day Premium trial is offered once, with your first subscription, and turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends.

Free plan and ads

We may show ads in the free plan. Personalised ads are only shown with your consent.

Changes

We only change the service or these terms for a valid reason (for example a change in the law, security or a new feature) and at no extra cost to you.

We announce changes in the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If a change works against you, you can delete your account free of charge and cancel a paid plan in the store. For significant changes we ask for your active agreement; staying silent is not agreement.

Liability

We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under product liability law and under any guarantee we give.

For slight negligence we are only liable for breaching essential obligations, meaning the duties that make the contract work and that you can rely on (such as providing the core functions of the app and your account), and only up to the damage that is typical and foreseeable for this kind of contract. Otherwise we are not liable for slight negligence.

We are not responsible for the availability, quality or content of third-party sources.

Governing law and courts

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you normally live still apply.

As a consumer you can sue in the courts where you live or where we are established; we can only sue you in the courts where you live.

Consumers in Turkey can also turn to the consumer arbitration committee or consumer court where they live, under Turkish Law No. 6502.

Consumer disputes

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

Language and contact

The Turkish, English and German versions of these terms are equally valid.
